The objective of this paper is to provide an overview of administration and leadership in medical profession based upon scenario of Ms. T who is health professional manager in intensive proper care unit (ICU). Ms. J has been a nurse for more than 20 years in current hospital and she has above ten years' experience because nurse manager. She has recently been working in current ICU being a manager pertaining to six years. Staff members incorporate some complaints about Ms. J's leadership and supervision skills including her conversation skills, familiarity with the unit, and availability of assistance for serious patients care. This daily news will focus on Ms. J's leadership style characteristics and rationale to get selection. In addition , it will talk about differences between leadership and management and Ms. J's collaboration and interdisciplinary practice in her unit.
Successful leadership and management skills of leaders affect shared trust amongst staff members and patients' quality care. It is going to lead to success of the organization. Nurse Supervisor is more associated with budget government of unit, scheduling, and employees selecting and analysis process when compared to shift fee nurse inside the unit.
